From MMB:

1. Kill the Wererat Emissary, he will drop a greasy leather bracelet. You need this to get into the ancient stronghold.

2. Once inside the ancient stronghold go and speak with the ghost knight.

3. Then go to where you have to turn the torch. (top floor room with all the torches), make your way down to the very basement and then SEARCH SOUTH. (Here on out make sure you brought a priest with cure disease)

4. Go to the room with the puzzle door and type SOLVE PUZZLE, (have the person with the highest intell do this) once the door to the west opens kill off all the plague crafters in the room (sometimes 9, so be careful)

5. Then type ATTACK APPARATUS or DESTROY APPARATUS

You will get 150k exp and +1% to dodge.

From MudCentral:

• This one is pretty simple. First grab some maps for mod 3 area. Then make your way down to the Dark-Elf City and kill the Wererat Emissary, he will drop a greasy leather bracelet. You need this to get into the ancient stronghold. Then climb your way back up to the top, its the level of the caves same below the hill top fort, and go to the spot in the very lower right hand corner and rub the bracelet. It should open a way to the ancient stonghold. Once inside go and speak with the ghost knight. Then go to where you have to turn the torch. (top floor room with all the torches), make your way down to the very basement and then SEARCH SOUTH. (Here on out make sure you brought a priest with cure disease) Go to the room with the puzzle door and type SOLVE PUZZLE, (have the person with the highest intell do this) once the door to the west opens kill off all the plague crafters in the room (sometimes 9, so be careful, and keep the priest alive) Then type ATTACK APPARATUS or DESTROY APPARATUS and boom (sometimes you have to exit the realm to see the changes) you should have gotten 150,000 exp and some MA (varies depending on lvl/charm/class) It gives about 1%-2% dodge.
