¶ Winterhawk's MegaMud Paths
These are MegaMud paths fixed/created by Winterhawk. There are tons of new paths to mod9 areas as well as many fixes to already created paths. View the readme file.
¶ Installer
The installer program performs the manual files only steps below for you. It provides options for cleaning out your Default, Char, and BBS folders. Created by syntax53.
- v1.0 - First Release
- v1.01 - This fixes the megamud.exe not found issue and adds options for removing the old files. This is an installer only update. No newer paths are included.
- v2.0 - New Paths and more options

¶ Files Only
Manual Installation instructions for replacement default megamud paths. In order to have the most trouble free installation with no path or room conflicts it is best to delete all old paths and databases.
- Close all instances of Megamud.
- Make a backup of your megamud folder.
- Delete the c:\program files\megamud\default folder.
- Go into megamud\chars\all and remove all files then do the same for each char folder except players.md and macros.md.
- Go into each folder under megamud and delete all files except the bbs.ini,macros.md and players.md .
- Unzip the default.zip file and place the enclosed default folder in c:\program files\megamud\ where it replaces the default folder you deleted.
- Restart megamud and give it a try. If all went well you should now have an installation of megamud that no longer gets lost, knows all the newer spells and items and works better than ever before.

¶ Database Viewers
¶ MMUD Explorer
MMUD Explorer is a database viewer for MajorMUD. It has a comparing feature which allows you to easily compare weapons, armour, and spells. It also has a graphical room explorer in which you can 'walk' around the realm. Other features include an inventory calculator, megamud pathing, monster combat sim, exp calculator, explorers for monsters/shops/weapons/armour/spells/items/races/classes, saving/loading characters, and copying data to and from the clipboard.

¶ MMView
MMVIEW is a database viewing program created by Locke Cole. It has awesome features like building dynamic maps and executing textblock code ... not to mention viewing the databases.
It requires the actual MajorMUD *.VIR files.

¶ TurboDB
TurboDB, created by Drakkhen and Turbo, is a utility for browsing the stats of items and spells. It includes an inventory calculator for planning your inventory and a few other tools like a swing calculator, average damage calculator, and a mana regen calculator. It does not require the MajorMUD databases.

¶ Blood 2 HTML
Blood 2 HTML is a program that will take a text capture file and color code it. It then turns it into either an HTML file or a file for posting in forums.

¶ LLT Exp Calculator
The LLT Exp Calculator is another creation by Locke Cole. It accurately determines how much experience a character would need to level. It also has a number of other features like determining about how much mana, HPs, mana regen, and encumberance you would have depending on your level and stats. NOTE: the encumberance calc on this is off. it's still on the old 48 encum. per 1 strength.
